Finger Millet Nut Brownies


  • 1 and 1/2 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Wimbi Afya flour

  • 1/2 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Honey

  • ½ cup ghee

  • 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 3 tablespoons chopped nuts

  • 3 tablespoons dark chopped chocolate

  • 1 Winnie’s Pure Health Egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1 tablespoon brewed coffee


  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a mixing bowl mix Wimbi Afya flour, cocoa powder and baking powder
  • In different mixing bowl beat ghee and honey until well combined. Add in the egg, vanilla essence, melted dark chocolate and milk and mix them well
  • Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix. Add in a tablespoon of coffee into the brownie batter
  • Add the chopped nuts and chopped dark chocolate and mix them all together
  • Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking dish and garnish with nuts and chocolates
  • Bake the brownies for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely on cooling rack after baking then cut into squares
