Terere (Amaranth) with Sesame Porridge
Ingredients
6 tablespoons Winnie’s Pure Health Terere flour
2 and 1/4 cups cold water
2 tablespoons Winnie’s Pure Health Honey
1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- Add 6 tablespoons of flour to a bowl and add ¾ cup of cold water
- Mix thoroughly to make a smooth paste with no lumps
- Heat 1 and 1/2 cups of water to boil and add the paste
- Let it cook for 10 minutes on low heat while being continually stirred
- Add honey and sesame seeds while serving
- Best served warm
