Ingredients
2 tablespoons Winnie’s Pure Health Honey
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Sea Salt
1 and 3/4 cup buttermilk
2 Winnie’s Pure Health Organic Eggs
3 tablespoons ghee, melted
Strawberries to garnish
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a muffin tray
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, honey, eggs, and melted ghee until smooth
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients while whisking. Mix until just combined. Let the batter rest for 2 minutes
- Pour the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full. Add strawberry pieces on top
- Bake for 10–15 minutes or until golden and cooked through
- Let the muffins cool for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature
