Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Atta Mark 1

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast

  • 1/2 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Sea Salt

  • 1 teaspoon ghee

  • 1/2 cup warm water

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, sesame seeds, dry yeast, honey, and herbal sea salt
  • Gradually add warm water and knead until a soft dough forms
  • Add the ghee and continue kneading until the dough becomes smooth and elastic
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes, or until it doubles in size
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C
  • Divide the dough into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a rectangle
  • Slice the dough vertically into 8 equal strips. Repeat with the remaining dough
  • Arrange the strips on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for about 20 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown
  • Lightly brush the baked bread sticks with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Allow them to cool slightly before serving
