Wholewheat Bread Sticks

Wholewheat Bread sticks are a versatile and delightful addition to any meal, perfect for dipping or enjoying on their own. Try this easy-to-follow recipe using Winnie’s Pure Health Atta Mark 1 and experience the delicious, homemade flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Atta Mark 1

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast

  • 1/2 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Sea salt/Herbal Salt

  • 1 teaspoon ghee

  • 1/2 cup warm water

Directions

  • Combine all the ingredients, except the ghee and knead into a soft dough using enough warm water
  • Add the ghee and knead again till the dough is smooth and elastic
  • Now cover the dough with a damp cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes or till the dough proofs and doubles in volume
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  • Divide the dough into 2 equal portions
  • Roll out each portion and cut to a rectangle shape
  • Cut the rolled out dough into 8 equal vertical strips
  • Repeat with the remaining dough for more strips
  • Place them on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180ºc for 20 minutes the bread sticks should be crisp and golden brown in color
  • Brush them with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds
  • Cool and serve with a dip of your choice
