Wholewheat Bread Sticks
Wholewheat Bread sticks are a versatile and delightful addition to any meal, perfect for dipping or enjoying on their own. Try this easy-to-follow recipe using Winnie’s Pure Health Atta Mark 1 and experience the delicious, homemade flavor.
Ingredients
3/4 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Atta Mark 1
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Honey
1/2 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Sea salt/Herbal Salt
1 teaspoon ghee
1/2 cup warm water
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients, except the ghee and knead into a soft dough using enough warm water
- Add the ghee and knead again till the dough is smooth and elastic
- Now cover the dough with a damp cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes or till the dough proofs and doubles in volume
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius
- Divide the dough into 2 equal portions
- Roll out each portion and cut to a rectangle shape
- Cut the rolled out dough into 8 equal vertical strips
- Repeat with the remaining dough for more strips
- Place them on a baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180ºc for 20 minutes the bread sticks should be crisp and golden brown in color
- Brush them with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds
- Cool and serve with a dip of your choice
