Vegetable Pizza


  • 4 cups Winnie’s Pure Health Chapati Afya

  • 1 tablespoon yeast

  • 1/4 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Salt/ Sea Salt

  • 2 teaspoons Winnie’s Pure Health Honey

  • 1 and 1/2 cup warm water

  • Sauce and Toppings
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, trimmed and chopped

  • 1 cup broccoli flowerets

  • 1/2 cup carrots, grated

  • 1 cup green peppers, diced

  • 1 cup diced fresh tomatoes

  • 2 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

  • 1 large red onion, diced


  • Mix flour and salt. Heat water to luke warm, add yeast and honey and let it bloom for 10-15 minutes
  • Add the dry ingredients into the bloomed yeast water. Mix for 2 minutes. Add remaining flour, mixing well after each addition
  • Knead dough for 10 minutes. Cover. Let rise in warm place until double. Punch down
  • Divide into equal parts. Roll and place in 7-inch pizza pans. Cover; let rise in warm
  • For the sauce, heat the onions, add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and oregano; let the tomatoes cook till they form a thick paste
  • Top the bread with the sauce then the vegetables and finally the cheese. Bake at 250ºC for 20 minutes
  • Serve
