Vegetable Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiled Winnie’s Pure Health Brown Rice

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 cup boiled peas

  • 2 sliced carrots

  • 1 diced red pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Afya mchuzi

  • 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Sea Salt

Directions

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the green onions and saute, stirring frequently, until starting to turn translucent
  • Add in the ginger, garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the carrots, turmeric, black pepper, sea salt, Afya Mchuzi and stir frequently for 2 minutes. Stir in the red pepper and cook for 1 minute
  • Finally add the boiled peas and brown rice. Stir well and make sure they are heated through for 3 minutes
