Vegetable Fried Rice
Ingredients
2 cups boiled Winnie’s Pure Health Brown Rice
2 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup boiled peas
2 sliced carrots
1 diced red pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Afya mchuzi
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Sea Salt
Directions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the green onions and saute, stirring frequently, until starting to turn translucent
- Add in the ginger, garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the carrots, turmeric, black pepper, sea salt, Afya Mchuzi and stir frequently for 2 minutes. Stir in the red pepper and cook for 1 minute
- Finally add the boiled peas and brown rice. Stir well and make sure they are heated through for 3 minutes
