Ingredients
¾ cup softened butter
2 Winnie’s Pure Health Organic Eggs
¼ cup Winnie’s Pure Health Honey
1 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Atta mark 1 whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius and grease your baking tray
- In a bowl, combine the Uji Afya flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and ground ginger. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter and Winnie’s Pure Health Honey until light and fluffy
- Add the organic eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until a soft dough forms. If the dough feels too sticky, add a little more flour
- Roll the dough into golf-ball-sized portions, then gently flatten each ball between your palms
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking tray, leaving some space between each one
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden
- Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool completely before serving
