Sesame Chicken
Ingredients
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 red onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1 tablespoon Winnie’s Pure Health Afya Mchuzi
½ teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Sea Salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 chicken breast fillet – chopped into bite-size chunks
- Sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 tablespoons Winnie’s Pure Health Honey
3 tablespoons ketchup
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
Directions
- Heat the oil in a frying pan until hot
- Fry the onions until golden brown, add in the ginger and garlic and cook for 1 minute
- Add in the chicken, paprika, Afya Mchuzi, salt, black pepper and stir well for the ingredients to coat the chicken cook stiring until done. Remove the chicken and place it in a plate
- Add all of the sauce ingredients to the pan, stir and bring to a boil and cook for 4 minutes. Now add the chicken back in and toss in the sauce to coat. Cook for 2 minutes
- Serve with boiled rice and top with sesame seeds
