Oat Chocolate Pancakes
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cup oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon Winnie’s Herbal Pure Health Sea Salt
1 cup milk
1 Winnie’s Pure Health Health Organic Egg
1 ripe banana
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Ghee for cooking
Directions
- In a blender, add the oats, and blend. Add the baking powder, cinnamon and salt to the blender and pulse once to combine. Transfer the mixture to a small bowl and set aside
- In the same blender, add milk, egg, banana and vanilla extract. Blend until combined
- Add the dry ingredients and mix until everything is incorporated. Transfer batter to a bowl and fold in chocolate chips
- Scoop about 1/3 cup batter onto a hot pan prepared with a teaspoon of ghee and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat for the remaining pancake batter
- Garnish with bananas and honey, if desired and enjoy warm
