Oat Chocolate Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cup oats

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon Winnie’s Herbal Pure Health Sea Salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 Winnie’s Pure Health Health Organic Egg

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • Ghee for cooking

Directions

  • In a blender, add the oats, and blend. Add the baking powder, cinnamon and salt to the blender and pulse once to combine. Transfer the mixture to a small bowl and set aside
  • In the same blender, add milk, egg, banana and vanilla extract. Blend until combined
  • Add the dry ingredients and mix until everything is incorporated. Transfer batter to a bowl and fold in chocolate chips
  • Scoop about 1/3 cup batter onto a hot pan prepared with a teaspoon of ghee and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat for the remaining pancake batter
  • Garnish with bananas and honey, if desired and enjoy warm
