Fried Githeri
Ingredients
3 cups cooked githeri
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 red onion chopped
1 green pepper diced
1 tomato diced
1 cup potatoes
1 tablespoon chopped dhania
1 cup vegetable stock/ water
1/2 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Afya Mchuzi
1/4 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 Avocado for serving
Directions
- Fry the onions until golden brown
- Add in the tomatoes, green peppers and let it simmer for two minutes, then add the potatoes and let this cook for 10 minutes. Add in Afya Mchuzi, githeri and stir well
- Now add the coriander and vegetable stock and simmer for 15 minutes
- The githeri is done, serve with an Avocado
