Finger Millet Nut Brownies
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Wimbi Afya flour
1/2 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Honey
½ cup ghee
1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons chopped nuts
3 tablespoons dark chopped chocolate
1 Winnie’s Pure Health Egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon brewed coffee
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a mixing bowl mix Wimbi Afya flour, cocoa powder and baking powder
- In different mixing bowl beat ghee and honey until well combined. Add in the egg, vanilla essence, melted dark chocolate and milk and mix them well
- Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix. Add in a tablespoon of coffee into the brownie batter
- Add the chopped nuts and chopped dark chocolate and mix them all together
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking dish and garnish with nuts and chocolates
- Bake the brownies for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely on cooling rack after baking then cut into squares
