Chicken Mishkaki

Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken breast, cut into bite-sized chunks

  • 2 tablespoons oil

  • 1/2 cup warm water

  • 2 tablespoons Winnie’s Pure Health Afya Mchuzi

  • 1 tablespoons Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Sea Salt

  • 1 red bell pepper cut into chunks

  • 1 green pepper cut into chunks

  • 1 yellow pepper cut into chunks

  • 1 big onion cut into chunks (Optional)

  • For Marinade
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh garlic

  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Afya Mchuzi

  • ¼ teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Sea Salt

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions

  • Marinade the chicken with ginger, garlic, black pepper, soy sauce, Herbal salt, and Afya Mchuzi for 2 hours or overnight
  • Thread the marinated chicken on skewers alternating with onions and bell peppers
  • Make a baste paste with 1 teaspoon Afya Mchuzi, 1 teaspoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon oil and 1/8 teaspoon Winnie’s Herbal salt
  • Grease the pan and put in the chicken in the skewers. Baste it occasionally while turning it until cooked to your preference
  • When ready serve with your favourite salad or sauce
