Brown Rice with Minced Meat
Ingredients
500grams lean minced beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Salt
2 cups cooked Winnie’s Pure Health Brown Rice
Chopped green onions/ dhania for garnish (optional)
Directions
- In a sufuria, fry onions for two minutes, add the minced beef and green pepper and cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink and green pepper is tender, breaking up beef into crumbles
- Stir in tomato sauce, tomatoes, garlic mince and seasonings; cover and bring to a boil
- Add rice; heat through, stirring occasionally. Ganish with dhania and serve
