Ingredients
8 garlic cloves, crushed
1 large onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
½ kg liver
1 tomato, minced
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon paprika
½ tablespoon black pepper
½ teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Sea Salt/ Herbal Salt
Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Afya Mchuzi
Directions
- Remove the thin membrane from the liver
- Soak your liver in milk for 10 minutes
- Add the oil in a pan and heat. Add the bell pepper, red onion, and minced garlic and allow to cook until softened for 3-5 minutes
- Add the tomato, tomato paste, salt, and spices together with ¼ cup of hot water. Cook for 5-8 minutes
- Add the liver and let it cook for 10 minutes under medium heat
- Once cooked, add your Herbal Mchuzi and coriander. Cover and let it simmer for 3 minutes
