Boost Libido Wheatgrass

Having a healthy sex drive is linked to feeling physically and emotionally healthy, so it’s no surprise that the foods you eat play a role in boosting your sex life. Looking to ramp up your sex drive? Or just feel a little friskier in general? Start walking toward the kitchen. Before judging anyone we should know that there’s no right or wrong sex drive for females or males, and definitely isn’t any kind of rule for how often people should be having sex.

Keeping the circulatory system in good working order is essential for sexual health. Better circulation can lead to an improved sexual response in men and women. This is especially true for the erectile response. Cardiac health is also vital for stamina. If it is good for the heart, it is good for a person’s sex life.

A nutritious diet can benefit your sex life in many ways:

  • Boosting your libido
  • Improving blood flow and heart health
  • Improving your stamina

There are factors that decrease sex drive;

  • Excessive weight
  • Poor diet
  • No exercise
  • Poor sleep habit
  • Overconsumption of caffeine and alcohol
  • Unhealthy relationships
  • Stress

Eating a diet rich in vegetables and lean proteins and low in foods that contain sugar and saturated fat can also help to prevent disorders that affect your libidos, like metabolic syndrome and hormonal conditions.

Here are a few foods that can boost your libido and may improve your overall health, too.

  1. Meat; eating meat, or other foods that contain specific amino acids, could help improve your sex life. Various high-protein foods including beef, chicken, and pork contain compounds that help to improve blood flow which is crucial to sexual response in people of all genders.
  2. Nuts and seeds; instead of soda, try snacking on a handful of nuts and seeds. Cashews and almonds are full of zinc. Some of them are walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and peanuts.
  3. Apples, strawberries, red wine, blueberries, citrus fruits, dark colored grapes; antioxidants in fruits and vegetables, can help manage high blood pressure and treat conditions linked with sexual function, and erectile dysfunction.
  4. Nitrate-rich foods; like beets and beets juice can help manage blood pressure and improve circulation. Other foods high in nitrates include; spinach, lettuce, pumpkin leaves, and terere.
  5. Drinking red wine in moderation might increase sexual desire and function, though drinking an excess can have the opposite effect.
  6. Fish, omega, tuna, and salmon; are well known for having heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. They could play a role in keeping your body and your sex life healthy.
  7. Fenugreek; is an herb used both in cooking and as a supplement to help boost libido.
  8. Zinc-rich foods; zinc is a mineral the body needs every day for many vital functions, such as cell metabolism, stamina, and regulating the level of testosterone. Testosterone is the most important male sex hormone. Sources of zinc include crab, lobster, red meat, fortified breakfast cereal, Wheatgrass powder and oyster.
  9. Watermelon; contains citrulline, which is converted into arginine in the body. These chemicals relax blood vessels just like the basic effect of Viagra.
  10. Broccoli; which helps reduce estrogen levels, broccoli may be a great libido booster in men.

When you are in a healthy place in your life and in your relationship everything falls into place. But if you feel you have a concern about your libido, seek medical help.
