Carrot Cake
Ingredients
3 cups carrots, grated
1/4 cup raisins
4 Winnie’s Pure Health Organic Free Range Eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Honey
2 cups Winnie’s Pure Health Chapati Afya flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon organic ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
- Whisk the eggs, oil, and honey together
- Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add the carrots and raisins
- Pour egg mixture into dry ingredients, and mix well. Pour batter into a well-greased 8 – 10 inch baking pan
- Bake at 180 degrees Celsius oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool cake on wire rack
- Serve and enjoy
