Carrot Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups carrots, grated

  • 1/4 cup raisins

  • 4 Winnie’s Pure Health Organic Free Range Eggs

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Honey

  • 2 cups Winnie’s Pure Health Chapati Afya flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon organic ground cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon Winnie’s Pure Health Herbal Sea Salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  • Whisk the eggs, oil, and honey together
  • Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add the carrots and raisins
  • Pour egg mixture into dry ingredients, and mix well. Pour batter into a well-greased 8 – 10 inch baking pan
  • Bake at 180 degrees Celsius oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool cake on wire rack
  • Serve and enjoy
