  • 1 cup water

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Honey

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 10 apples


  • In a cooking pot combine the water, lemon juice, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir until well combined
  • Peal, core and cut the apples into chunks, add them to the pot
  • Turn on the heat to medium. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, until apples are soft and remove from the heat
  • Let it cool then blend to a smooth paste. Now the apple sauce is ready to use
  • You can use it as a dip or in making other dishes
