Hibiscus Sorbet


  • 5 Winnie’s Pure Health Hibiscus Teabags

  • 5 cups Water

  • 1 cup Winnie’s Pure Health Honey

  • 1½ tablespoons Fresh lime or lemon juice


  • First, boil 4 cups of water with the Hibiscus teabags. Reserve the fifth cup for the second part of the recipe
  • Once the water reaches a boiling point turn off the heat and let the teabags steep for 15-20 minutes. Add the one cup of honey
  • Pour into a bowl and refrigerate for 6-8 hours
  • Add the fresh lime/lemon juice
  • Place the chilled liquid into a deep plastic container and freeze for an hour. Remove the icy mixture and rake with a fork. Return to freezer
  • Repeat the previous step every 45 minutes for a total of 5 times
  • Freeze overnight or until firm enough to scoop out
  • Scoop and serve immediately
